We are pleased that you wish to take advantage of expanded FDIC insurance coverage of a Certificate of Deposit through our CDARS program. The process is quite simple.

Initially, we will ask that you open a basic Money Market Account with us via our online channel and indicate CDARS within the Account Options section of the workflow. You may transfer as little as $300 to get started or you may transfer all funds that you ultimately wish to be directed to a CDARS Certificate of Deposit.

CDARS Placement Agreement

Once you have successfully completed the online opening process of your Money Market Deposit, we ask that you sign and return all documentation, together with the above CDARS Placement Agreement, to us as soon as possible (but no later than 30 days from the date of your application).

Upon receipt, one of our CDARS specialists will contact you to assist you in the transfer the funds that had been temporarily lodged in your Money Market to a CDARS investment of your choosing. Please note all CDARS placements are transacted weekly, each Thursday, however, you will be earning interest in your Money Market account until the CDARS placement is finalized.

Once completed we will call you to confirm and you will promptly receive written confirmation of your investment. CDARS has been an extremely successful investment option, particularly at this time.
